Participates in marketing and business development of new opportunities.
Responsible for working on the development and the production of commercial real estate forecasts.
Must have econometric capabilities, an understanding of commercial real estate and regional markets, familiarity with forecasting, and the ability to work in database and programming environments.
Researches local and regional economic issues, and provides consultation regarding the development of dynamic regional and local economies, as well as urban and rural regeneration.
Proposes solutions to issues such as labor markets, education and skills, deprivation and social inclusion, inward investment and business development.
May draft and prepare reports based on project outcomes.
Highly experienced professional with full project management authority and accountability for larger, more visible, more complex projects.
Demonstrates exceptional competence and achievement over sustained period in this field.
Possesses technical excellence in specialty area that is critical to the success of the firm.
May possess full technical control over project.
Sources and follows up on business development leads.
May supervise the work of others and conduct performance evaluations.
Financial and project management goals are defined by the organization annually.
Master degree in Economics, Real Estate / Land Management, Urban Planning or property related discipline.
5-10 years’ relevant consulting experience, preferably with a developer or real estate consultancy.
Relevant experience in tourism, real estate development, industry planning or infrastructure economics.
A strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn more and a desire to work in a dynamic, deadline driven team environment.
Analytical, good numeric skills and experience with social-economic data analysis, and detail-oriented.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
Good writing and oral communication skills both in English and Mandarin.
Experience of report writing.
