Position Title Material Handler 2

AECOM is seeking a Material Handler responsible for the shipping and receiving of hazardous materials. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1) Visual examination and inspection; may use measuring devices and techniques
2) Able to understand military specifications and follow hazardous material guidelines for shipping and receiving
3) Load material on and off of skids, pallets, stands.
4) Prepare labels as required.
5) Prepare required documentation and maintain records
6) Operate tools and equipment in performance of duties.
7) Receive data from and input data into automated systems
8) Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and hold appropriate license.
High school diploma and a minimum of three months general work experience or equivalent. Must be able to obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Familiarity with the application of military specifications and standards and hazardous guidelines is desired.
