AECOM GIS Developer/Database Specialist in Basingstoke, United Kingdom

We are looking for an experienced GIS Developer to join our team in Basingstoke on a permanent basis.
AECOM is currently seeking a motivated and adaptable person with Database, Web Development and GIS skills to join the Geospatial & Data Services team in Basingstoke. The teams focus is providing GIS and data management expertise on large environmental and infrastructure projections, or to develop systems in support of other disciplines in AECOM to carry out their work – be it mobile data capture, creation of toolsets for analysis or data analysis platforms.
You will be responsible for the development of new tools, databases and applications, and the support and maintenance of existing systems which are used internally and to support our clients on projects.
Recent development projects carried out by the Geospatial & Data Services team include:
Land Access and Survey Request Website for a large infrastructure project.
Analysis toolset in SQL Server to assist in SHLAA Site Assessments.
Arboricultural Survey data import system, using ArcPAD, SharpMap and TSQL to process data ready for reporting.
Web and Database tools to improve QA/QC processes on a city wide cycle infrastructure capture project.
We're looking for someone with experience in some of the following areas:
SQL Server management and development, including Spatial functions and TSQL, Triggers, Reporting Services etc.
Web Development experience – with UI/UX
ASP.NET Webforms development
VBA (Excel and Access) experience
Experience of DevExpress ASP.NET controls (desirable)
General GIS Analysis
You must have demonstrable experience in a similar post or be able to demonstrate your skill in GIS development.
