Cost Management: Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates to establish project budget, cash flow projections and financial statements to monitor and control project cost and conduct cost reconciliation to meet client’s cost requirements.
Value Engineering: Review project objectives and ensure projects are delivered in the most cost-effective way.
Tender Administration: Conduct feasibility studies and pre-qualification of tenders and prepare main contracts and nominated sub-contracts tender documents and reports.
Contract Administration: Prepare contract documents, recommend payment for work done, administer contracts in accordance with contractual provisions, assess variation works and settlement of final account.
General Management: Manage and supervise a team of Quantity Surveyors / Cost Engineers in all aspects of Quantity Surveying works and report and recommend to Senior Management the appropriate course of action.
Supervision Received and Exercised : Works under the general supervision of the Technical Director, SEA Asia or his representative; Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of senior professionals for the operations.
Minimum 15 years working experience encompassing both pre and post contract in consultancy environment.
Experience in large-scale projects and/or Thailand construction industry are added advantages.
Technical experience in cost management from cost planning, estimating, pre-contract, post contract, contract advisory and final account.
Experience with business development and leading bid proposals.
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong technical capabilities.
Proficient with collaborative software including Costx or another related computer software (such as Microsoft Office).
Recognized QS Certification is a strong plus AIQS, RICS, etc.
Strong communication abilities in spoken and written English.
- Degree in Building / Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Architecture or equivalent qualification.
