Job Summary

AECOM is seeking to hire a Senior Insurance Manager in Baltimore, Maryland.


Development of an assessment of options for Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) and or Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP) and or traditional risk funding approaches.

Assist MTA in pursuit of chosen options.

Act as an advisor to MTA in the development of strategies to facilitate appropriate placement of insurance or other risk funding techniques.

Assist the MTA in negotiations with appropriate parties and stakeholders to implement programs and solutions consistent with appropriate insurance protection.

Such other activities as assigned by MTA.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS

  • 10 plus years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • 10 plus years of experience in development, implementation and closeout of multi-billion-dollar construction OCIP’s and CCIP’s for public agencies in the U.S.

  • 10 years of experience with construction risk management and commercial property, casualty, and marine insurance.

  • Experience in the design of self-insurance and loss-sensitive risk funding approaches to controlling the cost of risk for public entities and construction contractors.

  • 10 plus years of experience in insurance contract negotiations.

  • Experience in loss control, insurance underwriting, claims cost control programs, and collateral agreements.

Preferred Qualifications

Expertise in Rolling Wrap-Up programs for public agencies
