Position Title CBTC Systems Manager

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and motivated CBTC Systems Manager for immediate employment in the Baltimore, MD office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Derives functional/performance requirements and documentation for CBTC systems based on client needs and requirements
Evaluates or prepares operational plans and reports that relate to CBTC system operational and performance requirements
Produce system and subsystem requirement specifications, interface specifications, and test requirement documents
Assesses plans and technical documentation
Present technical designs to clients
Reviews and comments on top level technical designs and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
Identifies technical risks and mitigations
Leads a system engineering team by defining work, coaching, monitoring their progress and giving general direction and guidance
Provides work plan estimates and descriptions based on knowledge of the work and project requirements
Provides support to the Systems Engineering Department Manager
Identifies pursuits for Rail Transit Systems with existing and new clients
Supports the development of Proposals for new work
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent engineering degree
10 years minimum in the design and implementation of CBTC Systems
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Strong technical writing skills and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of related industry systems engineering standards and processes and best practices
Has understanding and experience with industry best practices
Ability to apply applicable standards
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
Must possess a valid driver’s license
- PE in the State of Maryland
