Position Title Architectural Senior Airport Terminal Design Lead

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and motivated Architectural Senior Airport Terminal Design Lead for immediate employment in the Baltimore, MD office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Studio Design leadership on multiple complex projects, primarily Airport Terminals

  • Coordinates with Design Principal and other Project Leaders

  • Leads a team of architects and designers from early concept design for presentation to clients and production of design documents

  • Generates 2-D planning and 3-D presentations using current 3-D design and BIM software

  • Collaborates with team members on design throughout all design phases, from Planning to Schematic Design through Construction Administration

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related

  • 10+ years of experience

  • Experience in complex building design

  • Previous supervisory experience

  • Advanced knowledge of project design and construction documentation and construction materials

  • Advanced skills and fluent in Microsoft Office, and Scheduling software. Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and design tools such as Rhino and Sketchup

  • It is essential that the candidate express the ability to be a team player and to establish a strong design dialogue with the Design Principal, Operations Manager and other Project Leaders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Architecture or related

  • Registered Architect

  • Aviation experience preferred, but not required

  • Experience in Earned Value preferred, but not required

  • LEED AP- Sustainability, resiliency and/or climate adaptation experience preferred, but not a requirement
