Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an Intern Water Student Engineer to be based in Bakersfield, CA.
This position is expected to begin in May 2021.

As part of our Water Business Line, you will have the opportunity to work on very challenging projects including Dams, Levees, and other water resource-related projects, and collaborate with a wide range of other disciplines.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study
Intern 2 – completion of second year of qualified study
Minimum Requirements
Candidate must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil / Environmental or Mechanical Engineering.
Must have completed two years of study in the applicable program.
Due to the nature of the job, U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiar with ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
