AECOM is looking for an Environmental Field Technician IV who will support office Project Managers with field tasks (sampling, contractor oversight, remediation system O&M etc.) for current and future expected projects.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support office Project Managers with field tasks (sampling, contractor oversight, remediation system O&M etc.).
Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff.
May gather and maintain specified records of scientific data for supervisor, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites.
Collects and enters data
Other activities may include setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation.

HS + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Job requires experience with various media sampling, astute attention to job place health and safety, basic remediation principles, knowledge of remediation systems, the ability to troubleshoot, and effective communication skills (verbal, field notes, etc.).
Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record and be able to work independently with 90-100% of the time in the field.
Position will require OSHA 40-hour hazardous site worker training.
Must be physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in indoor and outdoor environments with uneven terrain and variable conditions including heat, dust, noise, and dryness. This position requires frequent (more than 50% of the workday) standing/walking, work in an environment of heavy, moving, dangerous equipment, keyboard/mouse operations, repetitive or fine hand movements, and lifting less than 25 pounds; often (25-50% of the workday) climbing stairs; occasionally (10-25% of the workday) operating vehicles, operating heavy, moving or dangerous equipment, and lifting 25-50 pounds; rarely (less than 10% of the workday) working with arms above shoulder level, performing repetitive bending/stooping, power gripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), working at heights, using portable ladders, wearing fall protection, working in confined spaces, working alone in isolated/remote areas, and lifting 50-75 pounds. Position will include wearing associated personal protective equipment, including gloves, safety glasses/goggles, face shield, safety shoes/boots, and hard hat.
Experience at Oil and Gas facilitates (refinery, terminals) preferred
