Job Summary

AECOM has an exciting opportunity in Afghanistan on the Afghanistan - EAGLE contract for a

Sr. Contracts Administrator . Analyzes and prepare and maintains appropriate documents and records for Letters of Technical Direction (LOTD) to ensure related efforts are tracked from receipt through execution to notifications of completion submitted. Prepares and maintains appropriate documents and records for Contract Data Records List (CDRL) to ensure accurate and timely submissions as well as modifications to the documents as may be directed by authorized changes. Maintains appropriate records/data for contract modifications as well as verifies accuracy. Records and tracks all contract site correspondence to and from the Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO) and Contract Management Office (CMO). Supports development of contract proposals and rough order of magnitude (ROM) submissions to include integration of personnel, equipment, material, and property requirements as well as in accordance with cost estimating system requirements and government regulations. Monitors compliance of AC FIRST actions with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR). Notifies senior management of potential non-compliance issues. Must be able to coordinate inter-departmental contracting issues and foster open lines of communication between internal and external stakeholders, including organizing and leading working groups/meetings. Attends classified meetings and requires SIPR and CENTRIX access to classified information necessary to support the USG and documents related to future missions and strategies. Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the AC FIRST Safety Policies and Procedures. Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries. Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the AC FIRST Quality. Administering terms and conditions of contracts. Monitoring contract performance. Procuring products and services. Negotiating contracts and/or contract modifications. Providing financial or accounting support to contracts tracking, submitting, or reporting contract performance, CDRLs, LOTDs, or any periodic submission to the USG. Other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Secret / Tier 3 (Interim prior to deployment).

  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • Must be Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certified or obtained within 90 days after arrival in country.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but work experience may be substituted for educational and/or educational achievements may be substituted for years of experience.

  • 3 – 5 years of U.S Government-related experience: military service, government contracting, or employment with a government.

  • Must have experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), and related federal rules and regulations.

  • BS Degree preferredPrior records management experience preferred.

  • Experience supporting DOD program OCONUS preferred.
