AECOM MASTER SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in Bagram, Afghanistan

Job Summary

AECOM has an exciting opportunity in Afghanistan on the EAGLE contract for an

Master Supply Technician - RH, Ensure all supply actions are conducted IAW the PWS, SOP, AR 735-5, AR 710-2 and DA PAM 710-2-1. QA/QC DA / DD Forms for Property Book Officer Approval. Ensure monthly hand receipts are produced on the 1st of each month. Responsible for the logistical operations in property accountability, and asset visibility procedures. Responsible for the timely and accurate resolution of issues pertaining to property accountability, and asset visibility procedures. Responsible for compliance with all authenticated directives within established guidelines. Ensure records and historical files are maintained and manages Hand Receipts in accordance with Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS). Conduct logistical research using STAMIS via AESIP and or LMR. Assist units with merging / splitting and transferring of property books, augment cyclic and sensitive item inventories per regulation and assist units in acquiring and expediting supplies from approved source. Ensure equipment transfers into and out of GCSS-Army are correct, accurate and in accordance with policies and regulations. Ensure Supply Technicians are professional, technical sound in unit property procedures, and possess strong customer services skills. Ensure PAAT members are meeting unit requirements and will review our team’s performance in the field to ensure our PAAT is providing quality service. Responsible for other administrative duties (scheduling, reports, timesheets, etc.) as required. Competent, trained and capable of effectively operating GCSS-A. Maintain a consistent data integrity rate of 100% of all transactions conducted. Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the AC FIRST Safety Policies and Procedures. Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries. Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the AC FIRST Quality Management System. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Secret / Tier 3.

  • GCSS-Army Certification required for US Citizens.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) BCSP Certification required (within 30 days of appointment).

  • Must have a minimum 6 years of property book experience

  • Must be proficient with the use of GCSS-Army, and AESIP.

  • Must possess knowledge in the use of technical manuals (TMs), Supply Catalogs (SCs), Component Hand Receipts and Shortage Annexes.

  • Must possess strong knowledge within AR 735-5, AR 710-2 and DA PAM 710-2-1.

  • Must possess a strong understanding of DA and DD Forms.

  • Must possess the ability to independently analyze and resolve difficult issues and problems in the assigned area of responsibility.

  • Must possess in-depth knowledge of supply program relationships, concepts and methodologies pertaining to Supply/Property Book Accountability and supply areas of logistics operations.

  • Must have experience with performing the following functions: Maintaining Unit hand receipts, perform asset adjustments, lateral transfers and update authorizations on the property book. Request equipment items, follow-up and cancel supply transactions. Post supply status and receipt information to the activity register. Create and print hand receipts, activity register and property book reports.

  • Knowledge/experience with Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) and Global Combat Support System–Army (GCSS-Army).

  • Must possess the ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels.

  • Must possess the ability to work independently; ability to work in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.

  • Must possess the ability to work well under pressure and around tight deadlines.

  • Must have organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills.

  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint) and other software programs to assist with special projects, process business unit invoices, and other compliance programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • U.S. Army 92A or 92Y preferred.
