AECOM Senior Process Engineer - Power CCP in Austin, Texas
United States of America - Texas, Austin
AECOM and the Process Technologies Organization (PTO) are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support PTO’s efforts to utilize its engineering expertise, historically applied to environmental controls for the coal fired power industry, into new market areas. The group is seeking Seller/Doer candidates with subject matter expertise (SME) that can be leveraged to help grow and diversify PTO’s business in emerging markets.
Examples of targeted market areas include:
coal combustion products (CCP),
waste-to-energy (WtE) and industrial wastewater applications, or
process-centric energy storage and recycling technologies.
The candidates process expertise in one of these, or other, emerging market areas will be combined with PTO’s existing broad engineering, technology, and turn-key delivery experience to develop and provide value-added solutions to AECOM customers.
The successful candidate will possess technical expertise and an ability to strategically combine disparate areas into new process technology driven solutions. Marketing and project development will be important functions of the candidate; the SME role is envisioned as a ‘seller-doer’. This resource will contribute to the sale and execution of new, creative, value-added and sometimes out-of-the-box solutions that have become the hallmarks of our organization.
