AECOM Project Adoption Change Management Lead in Austin, Texas

This position is an execution role, taking direction from the AECOM Management Services (MS) IT Portfolio Director (MS IT PMO Director). The Project Adoption Change Management Lead (PACM) will be an agent for change and help refine the AECOM MS IT Project Management Methodology’s (PMM) adoption change management process and corresponding workstream processes, procedures, and supporting checklists. The PACM Lead will: work virtually with virtual teams located in different time zones; serve as a consultative partner and work collaboratively with subject matter experts, cross-disciplinary and project management teams, functional partners, and stakeholders; conduct Prosci ADKAR assessments for change readiness and develop from those assessments comprehensive people-centric change management/delivery strategies and plans designed to accelerate stakeholders transition through change to adoption; work collaboratively with the MS IT PMO Director and Project Manager to identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation and contingency plans, and to determine the level of rigor for each project as relates to the stakeholders’ change readiness and the project’s level of change impact and complexity; collaborate with the Project Manager and other project stakeholders to create comprehensive communication strategies, plans, and training; create and manage project change management delivery plans; collaborate closely with the Project Manager and project stakeholders to ensure ongoing alignment with the project adoption change management/delivery plan approach, timing, processes, and deliverables; integrate innovative approaches and continuous improvement ideas into all aspects of their deliverables and into the MS IT PMM.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, human resources, or information technology and at least 2 years of experience as a Change Management professional –or- at least five to seven years of experience as a Change Management professional. This position also requires: PROSCI certification training in Change Management; a proven ability to identify and translate client requirements for CM into clear and measurable work products; proven ability to effectively engage with, and manage the expectations of, key stakeholders at all levels within a defined project; strong problem-solving and negotiation skills; good written and oral communication skills; a high degree of proficiency in MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio) and Microsoft Sharepoint and Project; and, experience developing comprehensive change management/delivery plans. Candidates with an Association of Change Management Professional CM Certification are preferred.
