Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Water EIT for employment in the Austin, Texas office. Under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer:

  • Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities

  • Preliminary and final design for water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations and pipelines

  • Perform shop drawing reviews and assist with project site investigations and construction progress monitoring

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university or college

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in teams

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

  • Prior engineering and/or construction experience

  • Course work or experience with focus on water and wastewater treatment and hydraulics

  • Water distribution system, wastewater collection system and hydraulic modeling

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
