AECOM Senior Landscape Architect in Auckland, New Zealand
Job Summary
The Opportunity
We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) professional to join our dedicated team and play a key role in the urban design and impact assessment sector of our practice.
As a qualified Landscape Architect with experience in LVIA, your primary responsibilities will be delivering LVIA projects across New Zealand and Australia. You will also play a key role in building client relationships and collaborating with our specialist team.
The Landscape team is an integral part of our Buildings and Places service offering, delivering technical inputs across many of New Zealand’s urban infrastructure projects. In addition to LVIA work you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, collaborating across multiple disciplines on urban infrastructure projects and delivering high quality integrated design solutions.
As a small team within a larger company, we have the benefit of a friendly bespoke team environment, but with the advantages of being exposed to the many large and exciting multi-disciplinary projects that AECOM is involved in. You will have the ability to work internally with engineering and other consulting professionals across all design disciplines, with many exciting opportunities available to those who choose to take them.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 5 years post study working experience
Proven ability working in a project team
Experience in preparation of evidence and attendance at hearings
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Multi-tasking and a proficiency in time-management and prioritising day-to-day tasks
AutoCAD proficient, with documentation experience desirable
Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. 3D modelling (Sketch Up) is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified to Degree level in Landscape Architecture
