AECOM’s Auckland office is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer with design consulting experience. This role will give you the opportunity to develop your career and technical skills while supporting the geotechnical business.
You will provide support to internal and external clients on a broad range of engineering projects from major infrastructure projects. Our current work comprises several major design infrastructure projects across New Zealand.
As a valued member of the Auckland ground engineering and tunnelling team, opportunities will exist to be involved in a project from the earliest stages of design, ground investigation all the way through to construction and construction verification.
Your demonstrated experience working in a Design Consultancy will enable you to immediately contribute to the geotechnical team. However, ongoing personal development is a major driver of the AECOM business. AECOM provides support and mentoring locally and from the greater ANZ business to ensure our staff develop the skills and experience necessary to meet and exceed our client’s expectations.
3-6 years’ experience in a similar role;
Design consulting experience;
Demonstrated experience managing/involvement in complex projects and meeting and exceeding delivery requirements. Gint, Plaxis, Wallap, Rocscience Suite;
Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Packages
Relevant tertiary qualification;
CPEng / RPEQ (or working towards);
Full driving license
