Position Title Mid-Level Landscape Architect

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Mid-Level Landscape Architect for immediate employment in the Atlanta, GA office. AECOM is pleased to include you in a unique development opportunity. The role will be to provide technical construction and design experience oversight to the team.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Prepares planning documents, conceptual and schematic designs, construction details, construction documents, technical specifications and cost estimates for a wide variety of public and private sector projects
Performs field reviews and analysis of project sites and study areas and prepares written documentation of observations and conditions
Works under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
Performs tasks with initial direction from staff and management
Assists senior staff with business development for the Transportation Department
Project types include but are not limited to; land planning, streetscape and complete street design/planning, park master planning and design, landscape beautification projects/gateway and trail design projects
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Landscape Architecture or Environmental Design required
5+ years of relevant work experience
Must be self-driven, highly motivated and efficient at production work associated with construction documentation and presentation graphics
Have obtained Landscape Architecture Registration
Must be proficient in Adobe Suite Software, AutoCAD, Micro-Station experience
Strong technical/construction documentation skills
Ability to work with a collaborative team of multiple disciplines, convey thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner
Ability to learn new software quickly
Ability to organize data in an efficient and clear manner
Ability to learn through on-the-job experience
State of Georgia Registration is desired
Prior experience with trail and streetscape projects, using GDOT’s PDP process
Functional knowledge of ArcGIS software
Micro Station experience
Collaborative attitude and passion for the profession
LEED Accreditation is a plus
