Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Mid-Level Landscape Architect for immediate employment in the Atlanta, GA office. AECOM is pleased to include you in a unique development opportunity. The role will be to provide technical construction and design experience oversight to the team.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.
Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets.
May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Landscape Architecture or Environmental Design required
5+ years of relevant work experience
Must be self-driven, highly motivated and efficient at production work associated with construction documentation and presentation graphics
Have obtained Landscape Architecture Registration
Must be proficient in Adobe Suite Software, AutoCAD, Micro-Station experience
Strong technical/construction documentation skills
Ability to work with a collaborative team of multiple disciplines, convey thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner
Ability to learn new software quickly
Ability to organize data in an efficient and clear manner
Ability to learn through on-the-job experience
Preferred Qualifications
State of Georgia Registration is desired
Prior experience with trail and streetscape projects, using GDOT’s PDP process
Functional knowledge of ArcGIS software
Micro Station experience
Collaborative attitude and passion for the profession
LEED Accreditation is a plus
