The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.

  • Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives

  • Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids

  • Research and apply building code, regulatory and industry code requirements

  • Prepare electrical design calculations, utilize electrical design software

  • Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member

  • Provide support to electrical engineers

  • Produce engineering drawings in AutoCAD and Revit

  • Assisting with developing electrical design criteria for projects, including facility power, control, lighting, communications, and grounding systems

  • Coordination with other disciplines and functions

  • Construction Site Observations

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a university pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once

  • Problem Solving Skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relative intern/Co-op experience

  • AutoCAD and/or Revit Experience

  • Completion of Sophomore Year
