Job Summary

AECOM Strategy Plus is seeking a highly motivated Design Strategist for immediate employment in the Atlanta, GA office.

Strategy Plus operates at the intersection of business transformation, communications strategy, and place making. Using creative design processes, we conceive and implement enterprise solutions that elevate investments, enhance occupier engagement, and improve experiences for organizations, industry, and government. Our team of experts has been focused on the changing nature of work for over 30 years, delivering measurable business benefits to our clients by integrating research and diagnostics, visioning, pre-design, and change management services.

Together, we are a dedicated, inter-disciplinary studio comprised of architects, interior designers, management specialists, and behaviorists, all driven by a shared passion for evolving workplace culture. Position Responsibilities

  • Supporting our consulting projects across varied markets including corporate, financial, healthcare, higher education, technology, and government

  • Managing and delivering specific activities within a project, including client interaction, communication, and high-quality delivery with oversight from a project manager. Aspects of project delivery include:

◦Supporting onsite engagements including user interviews and workshops

◦Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data from research such as surveys and utilization studies

◦Translating quantitative and qualitative data into compelling findings and implementable solutions

◦Developing change management strategy and plans to enable successful transitions

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a design or business-related field

  • 2+ years of related experience in the areas of real estate, design, or consulting

  • Demonstrated interest in design strategy, user research, space programming and/or change management

  • Familiarity with research methodologies and processes

  • Strong graphic skills including the Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and visualization skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation delivery

  • Experience with persuasive, expository, and narrative writing

  • Self-starter – ability to learn quickly and demonstrate willingness to take on new responsibilities

  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and distributed teams

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and collaborative environment with changing priorities

  • May be required to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Due to the nature of this position, US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a design or business related field

  • Change Management experience

  • Exposure to digital modeling/visualization tools (i.e. Revit)

  • Exposure to analytical software (i.e. Tableau)

  • Valid driver’s license
