Job Summary

AECOM is seeking Training Manager to support the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A) Program Management Office (PMO). The successful candidate will plan, direct, or coordinate the training and development activities associated with the deployment of a new business software application. The Contractor shall assist the government with planning and deployment of IPPS-A, so that it is made accessible to the users in the operational environment.

The Training Manager will analyze the geographical and demographical challenges associated with the training and deployment of IPPS-A and provide recommendations as to the most efficient means to deploy. This includes oversight of all deployment activities, the development and implementation of deployment management plans and checklists, and assistance with planning and coordination of Deployment Rock Drills as necessary. The Training Manager will support Command In-Briefs and New Materiel Introduction Brief (NMIB) for the gaining command. The NMIB will outline the system characteristics (particularly new or unique), schedule, responsibilities, and administrative instructions allowing the gaining, supporting, and fielding commands to make detailed plans for the fielding process to include such items as manpower required, location, and accountability. The Training Manager will also assist the Army with sustainment activities including the development of Sustainment Support documentation to such as the Lifecycle Sustainment Plan.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration or relevant technical field and at least 5 year of experience.

  • At least 2 years direct experience developing training products for DoD information systems, and knowledge of TRADOC Regulation 350-70, Systems Approach to Training (SAT), management processes and products.

  • Frequent travel may be required.
