Job Description

AECOM is seeking to hire a Project Manager to support our exciting project in Arlington, VA.

The job responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Serving as the owner representative to provide end-to-end management of individual projects and task orders with varying complexity including civil and M/E/P projects.

  • Responsibilities will include managing tasks and teams through project inception, design, procurement, construction, turnover, and closeout phases of the project.

  • Project manager will manage Client design peer reviews and coordinate with other AECOM engineering professionals to conduct a multi-discipline engineering reviews.

  • The project manager will be onsite full-time during construction and will be the clients onsite representative managing day-to-day activities, including safety, quality, schedule, and collaboration with project stakeholders.

  • Acting on the client's behalf, provide guidance and advice to the client, and manage day-to-day project tasks on the client's behalf.

  • Working independently, the project manager will be required to be onsite whenever construction is underway. Assistance from the AECOM local office is available when requested.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage client teams, coordinate external and internal stakeholders, manage various types of vendors including contractors, and be able to work with the client's multiple subject matter experts.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to the nature of the work

  • Able to pass client background checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

  • 5-10 years of experience as a project manager on complex transportation rail, bridge, and roadway projects.

  • Professional engineering registration or ability to obtain within 12-18 months.

  • CCM or PMP preferred

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is: $92k - $150k
