The Buildings and Places Division of AECOM is actively seeking a talented and collaborative Architect to join its Arlington, Virginia Architecture Department.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Approach the profession in a mindset of design excellence and engagement in providing solutions that exceed client expectations.
Take responsibility to lead small to medium size projects of varying complexity from design through contract administration.
Participate on project teams through the planning, design, and execution of projects locally, nationally and internationally.
Work with architects, interior designers, planners, and engineers in a multidisciplinary approach to develop creative solutions to a myriad of challenging project types.
Work in multiple sectors including Federal, Justice, Healthcare, and Workplace.
Design and production of all phases of projects from schematic design through construction administration.
Develop design presentations, communicate approach, and develop and implement documentation on projects.
Include work samples and a list of previous projects along with cover letter and resume.
Bachelors degree from an accredited Architecture program.
10+ years of experience
Candidates should have extensive experience in design and production of all phases of an Architecture project delivery including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
Candidates should display outstanding design and graphic skills.
Candidate should display strong communication, planning and collaboration skills, and be comfortable working both independently and in a team environment on a variety of projects and tasks.
A professional license is preferred.
Experience with the International Building Code, Contract Administration is desired.
Candidates should be proficient in a wide variety of production and visualization software
Due to nature of the work U.S. Citizenship is required
- Rendering skills are strongly preferred.
