About DCSA—Program and Project Management
As an industry leader in program and construction management, we partner with clients to support projects from concept to completion. Experience collaborating with peers and government agencies or commercial clients to develop, implement, track adherence to and report construction management plans (CMPs), project scopes, project budgets and project schedules.
Experience collaborating with peers and government agencies or commercial clients to develop Project Management Plans (PMPs) for commercial and/or government new construction and renovation in projects.
Experience collaborating with peers and government agencies or commercial clients to develop a range of Request for Proposal (RFP) types for construction projects.
Experience implementing comprehensive project controls to manage time, cost, scope, quality and safety.
Experience proactively integrating different facets of the construction process—planning, design, procurement, construction and commissioning—to successfully deliver projects.
Experience administering and managing construction projects according to industry standard processes and procedures and consistent with CMAA’s Construction Management Standards of Practice.
The ability and experience to interact with upper levels of client management structure, express ideas clearly and solve complex problems related to design, renovation and construction of commercial and government buildings.
The ability to assemble and analyze data to develop clear arguments key to making project-related decisions or solving project-related problems and expressing those arguments, in writing and presentation format, clearly and persuasively.
Functional knowledge of Manager Plus (or similar) fixed asset management platforms.
Functional knowledge of Primavera P6 to effectively and efficiently manage project portfolios.
All computer skills and functional knowledge of computer programs necessary to assemble presentations that clearly and efficiently communicate health of project scopes, schedules and budgets upon request and with short notice.
Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.
- BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Degree in planning, construction, design or engineering-related field or sufficient experience and professional credentials in the same fields.
PMP®, CCM® and LEED AP® BD+C professional credentials preferred
