AECOM Office Administrator in Anchorage, Alaska

AECOM is seeking a talented Office Administrator for our Anchorage, AK office. This is a Part-Time, 20 hours a week opportunity. The ideal candidate will be able to work 2.5 consecutive days each week.
Handles mail and telephone calls
Checks and verifies documents (new hire paper work, bills, receipts, invoices, etc)
Maintains files and records
Assists with invoice payments for the local office or for projects managed within the local office including proper coding and submission of invoices to Accounts Payable staff and payment of invoices by corporate card where applicable
Maintains files and records
Operates general business machines such as calculator, photocopier, fax and similar machines
May perform miscellaneous typing and data entry functions as needed
Provides administrative support to office or business unit including some of or all of the following:
Prepares or proofs correspondence, forms, spreadsheets, or documents
Makes travel arrangements
Maintains inventory of office supplies.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the administrative field
Prioritizes requests for assistance from other staff and keeps staff informed of the status of projects in process
Uses Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other programs to accomplish work
Assists with office set up to include coordination of furniture and IT equipment requisition and placement
Coordinates with corporate IT and sometimes acts as a local IT liaison assisting with simple tasks of hooking up monitors to a computer or docking station
Assists with office recycling and kitchen cleanliness
Other administrative tasks as assigned
Works under general supervision
- High School Diploma plus two (2) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
