Participate in scope of work generation of survey and/or right of way projects for transportation, environmental, Dams and water service lines
Perform scope review/ generation and QA/QC of surveys and right of way plans performed by AECOM and its subcontractors
Writing of technical proposals, and the negotiation of price and scope
Manages and coordinates surveys and investigations, perform survey computations.
Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements, including boundary calculations and legal issues
Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget
Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations
May participate in proposal efforts and business development activities
Supervise, assign, and direct the Survey and Right of Way staff in Ohio for the execution of the work to accomplish the project goals, and AECOM's financial goals
BA/BS + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training and experience
Professional Land Surveyor License, Ohio
5+ years of task and project management experience
Progressive background in field survey and Right of Way and/or Land Survey Plat development.
Must have experience in the design of Right of Way plans and/or Land Survey Plats. This includes being knowledgeable in the use of MicroStation/InRoads and/or Autodesk Civil3D.
Experience supervising survey crews and/or CAD technicians.
Experience with Trimble GPS, Total Stations, and digital levels
Qualified applicants will have experience coordinating with engineering to resolve any project issues that may arise.
