Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a

Criticality, Rad & Risk Services Technical Lead to be based in our Aiken, SC location.

Manages the day-to-day operation of a segment of the organization's operation and may have program management responsibility to one or more contracts. Participates in developing, interpreting, and implementing policies and procedures for the organization, ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

Provides technical and operational leadership for all Criticality, Radiological and Risk Management Services to ensure they are managed from resource acquisition, training, qualification and customer engagement perspectives, working closely with regional managers, account managers, other technical leads, and customers. The Criticality, Radiological and Risk Management Services technical lead reports to the Functional Resource Support Functions manager and is responsible for leading and supporting business development opportunity target identification, proposal preparation and review, and stakeholder/influencer relationship leadership.

Essential Responsibilities:

1) Overall responsibility for cost, schedule and technical performance of the operation.

2) Perform senior level customer liaison.

3) Implement Company policies and procedures.

4) Provide direction and leadership to assigned personnel.

5) Manage and coordinate research and investigations into business problems.

6) Provide guidance and assistance relative to operating problems and projects.

7) Manage and apply change strategies to create new organizations and services consistent with the company vision. Provide a vision for a business area within the company.

8) Provide senior technical support to customers.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Additional information:

  • Due to the nature of the work, candidate must be US Citizen.

  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field and at least 12 years of job related experience or equivalent.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required.

  • Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications are required.

  • Extensive travel may be required.

  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

  • Due to the nature of the work, candidate must be US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous DOE/NNSA/DOD and/or commercial/institutional contract support experience, demonstrated effectiveness in the subject/market area, and experience in service offering expansion.
