Position Title Site Engineer- Lift and Escalators
India - Gujarat
AECOM India is seeking an experienced and proven professional for Lift & Escalator System for Ahmedabad Metro Project. This individual will supervise and manage a PMC team. The qualified individual will have a strong background in project management and project delivery for transportation especially Metro/Rail projects.
The candidate is expected to review design report, contract Document, Shop drawings of the Lift and Escalator and its related Services of the project. This includes communicating client requirements, taking periodic reviews and intervening when team requires assistance.
Responsible for preparing progress status reports Progress payment etc. for the all Lifts and Escalator Installation aspects of the project. He is also responsible for vendor drawing approval and inspection of equipments.
Responsible to interact with and take regular feedback form architect, contractor and other vendors regarding the drawings and design and convey the same to his internal team. He may also be required to provide post commissioning support and solve client queries with a view to maintaining good client relationships.

Strong Leadership skill and role model requirement.

Profit and loss sensitivity is desired.
The role requires front end engineering and design consulting skills. It requires global client interaction as well. It is not a back office role.
The position will be based at Ahmedabad.

5-8 years of experience of working in Planning, Design and implementing of elevated Metro Project MEP Services.
Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Expertise in the field of Lift and Escalator and should have carried out for large projects designing and technology, Supervision of Construction, testing and Commissioning and basic knowledge of other fields (Electrical, Fire and plumbing).
Prior experience in similar projects.
Excellent communication skills.
