Position Title Receptionist / Office Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and proactive Receptionist/ Office Administrator to join our AECOM team to enhance customer service and client experience along with providing administration and business support to Adelaide office.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Answering and directing incoming calls including meeting and greeting of visitors
Manage switchboard and emails, redirect to appropriate person
Coordinate and facilitate internal and external meetings
Provide support with travel requests; where necessary processing through the travel system
Assist in office facility enquiries including maintenance, repairs and office cleaning
Maintain stocks of stationery, kitchen items and place orders as required.
Assist with planning and organising corporate events.
Offer assistance to the administration team on an ad-hoc basis including preparing, formatting various documents like reports, bids, presentations etc.
Assist in New Starter Induction and ensure all equipment is returned to the appropriate person when an employee leaves
5 + years’ experience in a Reception and/or Administration role
Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with staff at all levels achieving outcomes within the organisation and with external clients
High level accuracy and attention to detail
High level interpersonal skills and ability to work autonomously
Highly organised, effective and calm under pressure
Experience in engineering consulting environment will be beneficial but not a deal breaker
