Provides safekeeping of facilities and equipment and the safeguarding of sensitive information.
Controls building access and performs physical security checks.
Restricts access to facilities to authorized personnel.
Maintains current access roster.
Maintains log of all personnel entering or leaving the facilities.
Must be capable of comprehending and implementing instructions concerning the operation of mechanical equipment such as generators, air conditioners, fire protection equipment, and other emergency equipment.
Will answer telephone calls when necessary and use the paging system.
Will receive packages.
Will be required to perform all duties assigned under limited supervision utilizing instructions developed for guidance and direction.
Issues badges to cleared contractor employees, Government employees, and to visitors who have a valid Visit Authorization Request (VAR) on file.
Must be able to access JPAS to check available data.
Must be able to contact designated station units/personnel in case of alarm or emergency following proper procedures.
This position is to help with On-Call availability as the current workforce cannot cover.
High School Diploma
Valid State Drivers License
Ability to speak, read and write English
Must possess and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power-point, and outlook.
Experience using the Joint Personnel Adjudicative System
