AECOM is currently seeking a USAF Test Manager to support its operations at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio to provide on-site support for developmental and operational testing, including planning meetings and test execution.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Assist with development of project cost estimates, have knowledge of the system engineering process and project configuration management requirements.
Apply military aircraft operational knowledge and experience in order to identify operational and logistical impacts and translate operational requirements into contractual statements of work.
Apply experience in US military aircraft with an in-depth understanding of operational employment and weapons capability as well as the software development process.
Provide support for meetings in support of the Chief Engineer. Utilizes systems integration and current configuration knowledge.Develop and coordinate Flight Test Program Schedules that support the program’s Integrated Master Schedules.
Represent the program on the Integrated Test Team and coordinate appropriate test resources to support test requirements.
Apply expertise in avionics subsystem integration and including but not limited to fire control systems, stores management, displays, navigation systems, data links, electronic warfare defensive equipment, and communications.
Apply knowledge of test infrastructure, including US government test aircraft configurations, instrumentation, and test capabilities, and contractor flight test capabilities.
Apply knowledge of the operational flight program (OFP) development and testing processes, translating requirements into executable programs. Support the management of risk, cost, schedule, and performance of the test programs for OFP development.Apply integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise to technical and acquisition efforts.
Support avionics and weapons capabilities; complex weapon(s) integration; aircraft operations and employment; development of aircrew vehicle interface; OFP requirements development; aircraft mission; authorized aircraft configurations and capabilities; aircraft subsystems; systems integration.
Support studies and analysis of tradeoffs for incorporation of potential capabilities in future development efforts.
Assist in establishing, directing, and leading technical interchange meetings and working groups, serving as a liaison between the customer and program office.
Candidate shall have 15 years of experience and an accredited Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
Must currently possess a Secret Security Clearance.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other standard (Customer specified) applications.
A minimum of ten years of experience supporting program management tasks related to developmental and operational test and evaluation of acquisition and modernization programs.
A minimum of five years of experience leading people and managing programs.
