AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.

Job Summary

AECOM is currently seeking a Logistics Manager to support our operations at WPAFB, Ohio.

This position supports the B-2 Division (AFLCMC/WWZ) Directorate as a Logistics Manager, Senior. Coordinates all logistics elements (e.g., spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, provisioning, etc.) to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the B-2 Program Office’s needs. Assigned personnel shall be a key participant in developing long term weapon system supportability approaches that further Government acquisition strategy goals and objectives. Obtains needed logistics resources, and participates in site surveys and program reviews. Performs analyses of sustainment or related Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and recommend suitable replacements. Provides support to accomplish the generation and review of logistics support documentation that includes the following: Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical Orders (TOs), Technical Manuals, Electronic Technical Manuals, Illustrated Parts Breakdowns, Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis and work specifications to ensure the documentation meets Government logistics support requirements. Participates in Integrated Logistics Support Managers (ILSM) team meetings, Program Management Reviews (PMR), and other related meetings. In addition, Assists the government in performing Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) tasks.

Performs materiel solution analyses leading up to design reviews. Produces or supports development of draft documentation and presentation materials as requested or necessitated by programmatic limits based on cost, schedule, and performance. Applies logistics knowledge to perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy. Assists in the development and implementation of a comprehensive product support strategy that is focused on achievement of operational readiness outcomes.

Minimum Requirements

  • minimum of 10 years of experience and a Master’s degree or a minimum of 15 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or a minimum of 30 years’ experience. A Senior labor category typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.A Senior labor category may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

  • Must obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the required level.

  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other standard (Customer specified) applications.

  • Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Physical Skills and Abilities:

  • May require lifting up to 25 pounds.

  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard and monitor.
