Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Job Summary

AECOM in Winnipeg is seeking a Project Management Assistant/Project Coordinator.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Assist Project Managers with project administration, financial and administrative support

  • Act as project coordinator for various large-scale projects

  • Provide general project and administrative support for the entire group

  • Complete travel arrangements

  • Responsible for coding accounts payable and answer enquiries

  • Daily pickup of incoming mail from reception

  • Document Control - monitors quality management procedures

  • Scanning and electronic filing of all project related documents and numerical hardcopy filing

  • Coordinate conference calls

  • Accurate and timely word-processing of correspondence/reports/specifications/proposals (i.e., as per established standards

  • Liaise with Marketing Coordinator for formatting and production of proposals and major reports

  • Provide reception relief on an as required basis

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma

  • 2+ years’ experience as an administrative assistant

  • Consulting experience is preferred

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook calendar and scheduling

  • Strong and proven oral and written communication skills

  • Strong proof-reading skills

  • Ability to work in an environment that emphasizes quality standards and processes

  • Effective planning and organizational skills; detail-oriented and deadline driven

  • Work well independently and as part of a team; solid work ethic

  • Fast learner; quickly incorporate and implement new procedures

  • High energy, enthusiastic and dependable individual; excels in challenging environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business Administration degree is desirable
