Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Marketing Specialist professional for the Winnipeg, Manitoba office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

Working closely with the Area Marketing Manager, Area General Manager and Business Leaders to:

  • Lead complex, multi-volume and strategic Proposal and Business Development efforts as well as lead smaller, less complicated submissions

  • Supports and/or leads the entire process of pursuit planning/execution/production of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP's) and associated materials

  • Coordinate proposal pursuit team, conduct quality reviews to ensure compliance with RFP requirements and corporate brand

  • Conduct client and proposal debriefs, report results and implement on any necessary improvements

  • Assist with strategy and preparation for presentations and interviews

  • Assist in maintenance of related Marketing Management Systems including Salesforce (CRM), and Resume/ Project Profile systems

  • Provide support on local Client Account Management teams

  • May be called upon to provide local support on district-related/multi-disciplinary events including award submissions, client receptions, advertising, conferences, publicity engagements, etc. as appropriate

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Post-Secondary Education

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing procedures, document and presentation production methods, proposal processes/proposal quality and business development in professional services

  • Creative, self-starter, and has the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing and competitive environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to interact with all levels of staff to coordinate efforts and tasks

  • Excellent proofreading and strong writing skills will be required

  • Ability to independently manage a varying workload and multi-task is required

  • Knowledge of marketing procedures, document and presentation production methods, proposal processes / proposal quality and business development in professional services

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to apply these to proposal development and coordination

  • Proven excellence in prioritizing and multi-tasking abilities in high pressured environments

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is mandatory

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Willing and able to work overtime (occasionally on short notice)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in professional services marketing preferred, particularly background in engineering or architecture industry

  • Adobe InDesign experience an asset
