AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a Program Support Specialist to provide Business and Financial Management forSubmarine Acoustic Systems. The position will be located at 300 M St SE Wash DC 20003.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct support to the Submarine Acoustic Systems program office.

  2. Assist in the preparation, review, analysis and maintenance of documents, including preparation of Procurement Requests (PRs), Technical Instructions, contract Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), input to contract modifications and briefings

  3. Monitor program execution by appropriation and performer and prepare analyses and reports; develop spreadsheets, and routine program analyses; maintain tracking databases, and generate reports and documentation as directed; perform other general administrative and program management tasks as directed by the customer.

  4. Interface with program office personnel, Navy field activity personnel, and contractors in budget and finance, acquisition, engineering, and logistics functional areas for issue resolution and planning.

  5. Participate in Integrated Product Team meetings, draft presentation material, and prepare agendas, minutes, meeting attendance lists and actions as required

  6. Conduct analysis and provide recommendation for Navy correspondence.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field

  • 5 years of job related experience or equivalent

  • Good written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work

  • An active Government Security Clearance at the SECRET level.

  • Position may require 2% travel,

  • Contract Management knowledge

  • Experience with compliance with government requirements

  • Good interpersonal team communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to solicit and coordinate input across functional areas

  • Good organizational, time management, and task prioritization skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DoD Contracts, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DOD FAR Supplement, DOD 5000 Series Directives and Instructions, Navy Acquisition Procedures and familiarity with Contract Data Requirements List, and Standard Procurement System (SPS) experience. Good written communication skills, Proofing and editing proficiency, interpersonal team communication and collaboration skills and Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
