AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. Job Summary

AECOM is actively recruiting for a mid-levelProgram Managerfor work in the areas of technical deliverables documentation tracking and management for a Navy Submarine Program.

This position provides contractor technical support services for the VIRGINIA (SSN 774) Class Submarine Program Management Office (PMS450) in support of the Technical Division (PMS450T). Position is located on-site in the PMS450T spaces at the Washington Navy Yard.

General duties include assisting government and assigned contractor support personnelin the Program Office management and oversight of contract Commitment deliverables for VIRGINIA Class Submarines.

Specific duties include acting as the assistant Contract CommitmentsDatabase Administrator with demonstrated skills in database administration, queries, tracking and monitoring of key Programmatic contract deliverables, organizational dynamics, and general Project Management skills. Act as a backup to the seniorContract CommitmentsDatabase Administrator. Additionally, interface with all stakeholders in the PMS450 Commitment response process, including all PMS450 Divisions, NAVSEA codes, Ship Design and Ship Construction Yards (Electric Boat Corporation and Huntington Ingalls Industries), Supervisor of Shipbuilding, and various Navy Field Activities. Maintain custody and incorporate updates of the Commitments database within PMS450, receive and route newly arriving Commitments, track Commitment progress, generate standard and ad hoc Commitment database reports. Generate and update performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of the PMS450 Commitments process. Instruct staff members in the PMS450 Commitments process and the use of the Commitments database reports. Support the Certification process for New Construction and Post Shakedown Availability (PSA) ships. Generate other reports and documentation as directed.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree and at least seven years of job-related experience or equivalent. Two years of job-related experience may be substituted for each year of college

Experience in Microsoft applications Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Access to support the operation of the Contract CommitmentsDatabase. Knowledge of the Navy ship acquisition process is desired.

Active secret clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications

Basic understanding of Micro Soft Office including but not limited Micro Soft Word, Micro Soft Power Point and Micro Soft Access
