About the Business Line
AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
AECOM is actively recruiting for a senior-level Program Manager for submarine new construction program management / financial / technical management support for the VIRGINIA Class Submarine Program Office (PMS450).
General duties include overall program coordination of Program Management, Business/Financial Management, Technical/Engineering Support, and liaison with field activities and external NAVSEA offices supporting the development and delivery of the VIRGINIA Class submarine program. The candidate will work with the AECOM team supporting the VIRGINIA Class Program Office (PMS450), and will provide direct support to the PMS450 Electronics Assistant Program Manager (APM).
Specific responsibilities include direct liaison with the PMS450 Program Office to track, report, and assist in responding to, all internal and externally-assigned actions under the new construction Non-Propulsion Electronics Systems (NPES)/Submarine Warfare Federated Systems (SWFTS) activities; liaison with all SWFTS systems supporting all submarine classes and SEA00I for cyber security issues, general system engineering support, support to 450E BFM as required, SEA08 liaison for PMS450E matters and liaison with NUWC labs on PMS450E matters. The candidate will also participate in technical/engineering forums and discussions to track actions; ascertain program/financial impacts, risks and readiness; and assist in development of appropriate mitigation plans and briefs.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related job field and at least 10 years of job-related experience or equivalent
Active Government Security Clearance at the SECRET level
- Submarine experience or experience working within a new construction shipbuilding program is a plus.
