Job Summary

AECOM is actively recruiting for a mid-level Program Management Technical Support Analyst for work in the areas of technical deliverables documentation tracking and management for a Navy Submarine Program. This position provides contractor technical support services for the VIRGINIA (SSN 774) Class Submarine Program Management Office (PMS450) in support of the Technical Division (PMS450T). This position requires working primarily within the NAVSEA spaces at the Washington Navy Yard.

General duties include assisting government and assigned contractor support personnel in the Program Office management and oversight of contract Commitment deliverables for VIRGINIA Class Submarines.

Specific duties include generation of routing documentation for key Programmatic contract deliverables, as well as tracking and monitoring of these contract deliverables, providing courier routing within the Washington Navy Yard facility of designated commitment deliverable items, and perform basic data entry into the Contract Commitments Database. Additionally, interface with stakeholders in the PMS450 Commitment response process, including PMS450 Divisions, NAVSEA codes, Ship Design and Ship Construction Yards (Electric Boat Corporation and Huntington Ingalls Industries), Supervisor of Shipbuilding, and various Navy Field Activities. Assist in the generation and updating of performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of the PMS450 Commitments process. Support the Certification process for New Construction and Post Shakedown Availability (PSA) ships. Assist in the generation other reports and documentation as directed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Vocational / Technical school, Associates degree and at least 6 years of job-related experience or equivalent. Two years of job-related experience may be substituted for each year of college

  • An active Government Security Clearance, i.e., an in-scope Background Investigation with Access having been granted within the previous two years, at the SECRET level.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Microsoft applications Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Access to support data input into the Contract Commitments Database.
