About the Business Line
AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
AECOM is actively recruiting for a mid-level Logistician / Product Support Analyst for work in the area of Maintenance Planning (MP) and identification & procurement of special Support Equipment (SE) for Navy Submarines. This position provides contractor technical support services for the VIRGINIA (SSN 774) Class Submarine Program Management Office (PMS450) in support of the Product Support Division (PMS450F).
General duties include assisting government and assigned contractor support personnel in Maintenance Planning (MP) and the identification & procurement of special Support Equipment (SE), and related Product Support management efforts. Prepare draft analytical reports and meeting minutes for PMS450F. Generate other reports and documentation as directed.
Specific duties include performing technical review, analysis and maintenance of VIRGINIA Class Maintenance Planning (MP) documentation, developing technical and programmatic comments, and generating the related Navy correspondence; also, assisting Government personnel in the procurement of VIRGINIA Class special Support Equipment (SE), to include generating contract-related and funding-related documentation.
Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related job field
At least five years of job-related experience or equivalent. Two years of job-related experience may be substituted for each year of college
An active Government Security Clearance, i.e., an in-scope Background Investigation with Access having been granted within the previous two years, at the SECRET level.
Preferred Qualifications Military service and Submarine experience is a plus.
