AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. Job Summary

AECOM is actively recruiting for a junior-level logistician / Product Support Analyst for work in the area of Manpower, Personnel and Training (MP&T) for navy Submarines. The successful candidate will provide contractor technical support services for MP&T efforts for the VIRGINIA (SSN 774) Class Submarine Program Management Office (PMS 450) in support of the Product Support Division (PMS450F).

Duties include assisting government and assigned contractor support personnel in MP&T efforts and related Product Support management efforts; performing review, analysis and maintenance of MP&T documentation. Provide program level support, including research, problem analysis and determination of MP&T requirements. Develop Crew Phasing Plans for Virginia Class New Construction Hulls and other associated training related documentation. Perform tracking, maintenance and update of Navy Program Office MP&T data, where a good level of skill with Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel would be needed. Perform technical reviews of VIRGINIA Class MP&T documents, develop technical and programmatic comments and draft Navy correspondence. Prepare draft analytical reports and meeting minutes for PMS450F. Generate other reports and documentation as directed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related field and at least 3 years of job related experience or equivalent. Good communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required

  • Position may require travel

  • An active Government Security Clearance, i.e., an in-scope Background Investigation with Access having been granted within the previous two years, at the SECRET level.

Preferred Qualifications Military Service and Submarine experience is a plus.
