Job Summary

AECOM is actively recruiting for a senior-level engineer to provide maintenance planning support to the OHIO Replacement Program Product Support Manager (PMS397T5). Tasking shall include:

  1. For both platform (HM&E) and combat systems (C5I Systems), support the design and development efforts , in support of OHIO Replacement (OR) maintenance planning development. Perform requirements research, analysis, report and document generation.

  2. Support review, analysis and processing of OR maintenance and sustainment products, ,including Planned Maintenance System products, Unrestricted Operation Maintenance Requirement Cards (URO/MRCs), and Maintenance and Repair Standards.

  3. Support development / review of preventive and corrective maintenance task analysis.

  4. Assist in OR Program maintenance concept/plan refinement to support the OR operating cycle, including: development of the Maintenance Program Master Plan, formulating detailed requirements for the Class Maintenance Plan, and supporting Material Condition Assessment studies and analyses.

  5. Provide analysis of maintenance issues from Fleet Maintenance Reviews.

  6. Provide contributions to the Design-Build-Sustain process for arrangements, system configuration, access and removal, and maintenance-design impacts.

  7. Provide support for the facilities planning process, as required.

  8. Apply submarine systems engineering and logistics knowledge to influence design through participation in OHIO Replacement Integrated Product Teams and Working Groups.

Perform other general administrative and program management tasks as directed by the customer. Interface with customer and coordinate tasks with other contractors and Navy activities

Minimum Requirements

  1. At least 10 years of experience

  2. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related scientific field. Two years of job related experience may be substituted for each year of college.

  3. Knowledge and experience with submarine intermediate maintenance engineering, planning and execution processes, operations, organizations and facilities (e.g. Trident Refit Facility Kings Bay, GA).

  4. Experience involving Unrestricted Operations to Design Test Depth (URO) program requirements, the TRIPER program, OHIO Class Alterations, AWPs and Hull, Mechanical, Electrical, Weapons and Communication systems.

  5. Knowledge and experience in management analysis methods and techniques.

  6. Knowledge of how to conduct risk assessments and propose mitigating actions.

  2. Self-motivated, possess analytical skills and be customer-oriented.

  3. Effective communication, both verbal and written.

  4. Familiarity with computer hardware and software; proficiency in MS Office Suite.
