About the Business Line
AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
AECOM has an immediate opportunity for a Mid Level IT Asset Manager to support a government agency’s capabilities in Washington, D.C (Union Station / Red Line).
Performs day-to-day activities required to manage and maintain the accuracy of assets, such as receiving, storing, distributing, shipping, inventorying, and accounting for all accountable and capitalized OIT hardware and software assets (including OIT accessories and peripherals).
At least 4 years of related experience managing IT assets to include, delivery and staging, asset tracking, asset deployment, license management, and asset disposal
May be required to work evenings and weekends. Participation in a 24x7 on call rotation may be required. May be required to travel to SEC locations and data centers (<10% travel required)
Candidates must be U.S. Citizen or have legal right to work in the USA without sponsorship (Agency check will be required for this position)
Experience supporting both physical assets and Software Asset Management (SAM)
Experience support asset surplus and disposals processes
Experience with SAM tools such as BigFix: Software Asset Management, Flexera, Snow License Manager, Softline Solutions, or similar tools
Practical experience in developing asset management support documents such as: Standard Operating Procedures, Software and Hardware asset reports, inventory documentation such as databases and spreadsheets, and more
Hands-on experience completing Capital and Non-capital asset audits and verifications
Hands-one experience reconciling hardware and software asset audit findings
Certified Business Continuity Professional certification from Disaster Recovery Institute International
