AECOM is actively recruiting for a proactive, reliable (Lead) Mid-level Finance and Budget Analyst / Product Support Analyst for our Washington DC office. Navy Finance & Budget experience is required. Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience is highly desired.
This position provides contractor technical support services for business and financial efforts for the VIRGINIA (SSN 774) Class Submarine Program Office (PMS450) in support of the Product Support Management / Logistics Office (PMS450F). Support efforts include: lead / oversee up to two other Contractor team members in budget and funds accounting actions; in the preparation, review, analysis and maintenance of financial documents, including Individual Task Management Plans, Task Statements, Statements of Work and Technical Instructions, as related to government and contractor activities; assist in development of the Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) budget and generation of POM Issue Papers and briefing materials; develop and oversee financial metrics; assist in development and use of financial / budget execution tools and processes; interface with the VIRGINIA (SSN 774) Class Planning, Programming and Budgeting Team (PPBT) members; oversee utilization of Navy financial tracking systems, including the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) web-hosted tools. Also, develop correspondence, spreadsheets, and routine program analysis reports; maintain routine financial databases, and generate reports and documentation as directed. Perform other general administrative and program management tasks as directed by the customer. Interface with customers and coordinate tasks with other contractors / Navy activities. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics and at least 7 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
Specific experience in DoD Logistics financial / budget support, including funds status accounting and reconciliation, obligation phasing plans or equivalent, and development and maintenance of finance metrics is required. Experience in use of the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) web-hosted tools is highly desired. Knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process, Navy financial / budgeting policies and procedures related to Operation & Maintenance, Navy (O&MN), Other Procurement, Navy (OPN), and Ship Construction, Navy (SCN) appropriations is required.
Special Skills: Strong organizational and technical management skills, and attention to detail; excellent interpersonal skills with outstanding written and oral skills. PC skill in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint is required, with particular skill in Excel.
