Position Title Construction Scheduler
United States of America - Washington, D.C.
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Construction Scheduler for immediate employment in the Washington, DC office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for activities related to reviewing a contractor’s construction schedule, including the Initial Project Execution Schedule (IPES), Baseline Project Execution Schedule (BPES) and Recovery Schedules
Review and analyze monthly Project Execution Schedule (PES) updates and provide written reports to the client
Review and analyze Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs)
Review and analyze time extensions requests and perform time-impact analysis (TIA)
Provide written reports to the client
Continuously monitor and update the risk register
Bachelor’ Degree in engineering, architecture, or construction
7+ years of experience
Must have an understanding of construction means, methods, and sequences
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, Requests-for Proposals and contracts
Ability to understand A/E design practices, sequencing, and schedules
Ability to utilize P6 software
Ability to travel
Ability to generate project construction schedules is required
Ability to generate project design schedules is required
Knowledge of MS Project and Primavera P-6 is required
Security clearance of Secret or above is required
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
Knowledge of cost estimating a plus, but not required.
Cost estimating skills a plus
All the elements of project cost, including labor, materials and permanent equipment, supplies, consumables and expenses, and construction equipment rental and operating costs, contingency, escalation and program risk, etc.
