AECOM is actively seeking a Site Safety Health Officer for immediate employment. Position will physically be located in Hawaii, but will report to the Morrisville, NC office. The intent of this project is to relocate various buildings, such as the Emergency Operations Center, Physical Medicine Clinics, and Café Room ; renovation and/or reconstruction of buildings on the base; Repurposing of the physical medicine clinics; updating outdated equipment throughout the several buildings; replacing worn our piping and plumbing systems.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for managing, implementing and enforcing the Contractor's Safety and Health Program
Report safety-related matters
Maintain records of all exposure and accident experience incidental to the work
Use specialized skills to support SH&E initiatives within the project and company
Develop project specific site safety plan, perform audits and verification checks
Prepare AHA’s (Activity Hazard Analyses)
Maintain daily photographic log of the work, especially safety measures being used
Determine injury accident and property damage root cause analysis, contributing factors and provide corrective and preventive actions for investigations in any industry
Maintain databases and produce necessary reports
Construct and coordinate correspondence between contractor, military, government agencies
Other safety related duties as required
High school diploma
5+ years of relevant work experience
EM 385 certified
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
