Job Summary

AECOM’s Program, Cost, Consultancy team has an opportunity for a Lead Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to head our PCC Team in North Queensland. As part of our high performing PCC group, you will be responsible for leading and growing a team of professionals in the region to provide quantity surveying and cost management services on some of Queensland’s and Australia’s largest and most iconic vertical and horizontal infrastructure projects. Current major projects include:

• North Queensland Stadium

• Ergon Energy Depot Redevelopment

• J0088 – Aviation Fuel Tanker Facilities

As a Senior member of our group, you will assist with preparing proposals and presentations to clients to win work, giving you the opportunity to grow our business across North Queensland.

Minimum Requirements

• 10+ years’ relevant professional experience;

• Consulting experience – highly advantageous;

• Demonstrated skills in managing project costs and budgets;

• Understanding and demonstrated ability to administer Commercial Building Contracts, Sinking Funds and Capital Works Depreciation Schedules.

• Experience leading a team of professionals / project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification;

• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite; Cost X; Buildsoft; Expert Estimate
