Job Summary

The Water Business Unit of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Manager for immediate employment in our Toledo, Ohio office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate increasing levels of experience in water and wastewater specific to public utility infrastructure. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Plans and manages projects according to contracts established between AECOM and clients

  • Responsible for achieving client expectations and assuring that AECOM’s business objectives are met

  • Supervise project team in development of project deliverables, including reports, engineering calculations, contract drawings and technical specifications and/or manage construction projects

  • Assist in business development activities and in developing scope of work and budget for assigned projects

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other related engineering field

  • 4+ years of cost estimating / scheduling experience including project site work for contractors

  • Must be able to communicate well and work independently with clients, project managers and designers to define scope, discuss constructability issues and track schedule and costs from concept through final design and support with field changes

  • Must be very familiar with Primavera (P6), Microsoft Office and Excel, and know or be able to learn commercial off the shelf scheduling and cost estimating software

  • Must be able to develop quantity take-offs, construction schedules and cost estimates based on provided plans; and, interface with project managers and various design disciplines to determine scope and review our work product

  • Must be able to apply knowledge and experience of construction methods and procedures to our work process

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience including some project site experience working for contractors

  • 7+ years of water/wastewater experience
