Travel by air and you will likely encounter an aviation project that AECOM professionals successfully planned, advised, designed or managed - from the design of Terminal 9 at New York’s John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport to a master plan for Hong Kong International Airport to program management services for Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.   • Program and construction management

  • Airport master plans and facility development plans

  • Aviation system planning

  • Airfield/airspace operations planning, simulation and design

  • Airfield engineering

  • Pavement evaluation, rehabilitation and management

  • Passenger terminal planning and design

  • Passenger, baggage and landside vehicle flow simulations

  • Airport information technology and security systems

  • Airport asset management

  • Aircraft noise and air quality impact analysis

  • Environmental impact assessment

  • Transit facility design, including airport people mover systems

  • Economic analysis and land development strategies

  • Airport parking planning and design

  • Energy conservation and sustainability consulting

  • Landside and roadway access planning and design

Responsibilities:

  • Assess market potential and project pipeline

  • Project and design management of airport building and civil projects

  • Lead technical feasibility studies for aviation related planning and design activities.

  • Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary planning and design teams

  • Prepare and compile technical reports, specifications, drawings and construction documents

  • Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors as required during design and construction phases.

Minimum Requirements

Requirements:

  • Recognized degree in Civil or Building Engineering.

  • Corporate Membership of a relevant Institution of Engineers.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in engineering, infrastructure, facilities planning, design or project management.

  • Experience or strong interest in aviation sector.

  • Native Chinese with good command of spoken and written English.
