About the Business Line
We deliver creative solutions for building projects for industry, government, commercial and leisure sectors. Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design. We embed sustainability principles in every design.
Due to our recent project wins, we are looking to grow our Building Structures team. You will be working on some of the most challenging and exciting projects around the country with world leading technical experts. Some of the projects you could be working on could include: University of Queensland Sustainable Futures Building, Royal Hobart Hospital Tasmania, UTS Central Tower Sydney, Deakin University Learning Commons Building Melbourne.

The Structural Engineer is ideal for professionals with strong technical backgrounds who are looking for the next step in their career and have an interest in developing detailed design solutions and being responsible for the delivery of a range of exciting structural engineering projects. The person appointed will be responsible for the technical, on time and on budget delivery of these projects.
As a professional structural engineer you will:
• Provide technical structural engineering design
• Carry out general engineering duties to ensure quality and systems/process requirements are achieved
• Undertake site inspections and prepare reports
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement
Demonstrated experience in the structural engineering field
Demonstrated experience in preparing technical design documentation
Ability to achieve and maintain high levels of quality and consistency of outputs
Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for quality of deliverables and meeting deadlines
Exceptional levels of written and oral communication
