Job Summary

A vacancy now exists for an Operations Manager to join our Buildings and Places team in Sydney to drive the achievement of our business metrics. Reporting to the Group Director, the role will see you ensure the best project oversight, billing and collection practices across NSW and ACT and will manage the interface between the end-market and Corporate Services whilst developing financial forecasting and managing accuracy of backlog and projection of resource needs.

Utilising your strong commercial acumen, you will conduct monthly briefing sessions for practice groups regarding performance against key business metrics and assist the Group Director in preparing and implementing business plans such as financial plans and outlooks.

Minimum Requirements

You will be a seasoned Operations Management professional with minimum 10 years of relevant experience of Building Engineering consulting, projects, programs, and contracts. You will hold a Bachelor Degree in related field and a proven track in operational leadership experience including a successful performance track record in managing staff. Finally you will have strong financial administration skills and an excellent understanding of risk-management issues with the ability to assess, analyse, and make recommendations on risk issues.
